The following terminology applies to these terms and conditions: “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website or booking a service with us. “We”, “Us” and “Our” refers to Salt Cracker, LLC, the owner and operator of this website and the provider of the services. “Service” or “Services” refers to any charter fishing trip or other activity that we offer or arrange for you.
We offer a variety of offshore fishing and trolling trips from Clearwater Beach, Florida. You can customize your trip according to your interests and needs. We provide all the fishing gear, bait, ice, and licenses you need for your trip. You can also bring your own rods and reels if you prefer. We have a variety of tackle options for different fishing styles and techniques. We will help you land, measure, and photograph your fish. We will also clean and fillet your fish for you at the dock. You can take your fish home with you or request to have them cooked at Salt Cracker Fish Camp.
Booking and Payment
You can book a trip online through our website or by calling us. We accept cash, credit cards, or debit cards as payment methods. We do not accept checks.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
At Salt Cracker, LLC, we understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel a service you have purchased from us. We aim to make the cancellation process as easy and straightforward as possible, while also being fair to both parties.
We do not charge a deposit at the time of booking. We do, however, put a credit card on file. We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. If guests cancel within 72 hours or do not show up for the scheduled charter they will be charged half the charter price to their credit card on file. Guests will not be charged if their scheduled charter is cancelled or rescheduled due to weather or mechanical issues.
All online bookings will be fully refunded if their charter is canceled due to weather or mechanical issues. It may take up to one week for credit card charges to be refunded.
All other payments are collected after the charter has been fulfilled. If weather causes the captain to shorten the charter length a partial refund will be taken into consideration.
Liability and Disclaimer
We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from or in connection with your use of our website or services, except as required by law. You assume all risks and responsibilities for your own safety and well-being while participating in our services. You agree to follow all the instructions and rules given by us and our crew members. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, demands, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your negligence or misconduct.
We are not responsible for any delays, cancellations, changes, or errors caused by factors beyond our control, such as, accidents, strikes, wars, pandemics, or acts of God. We reserve the right to alter or cancel any service at any time for safety or operational reasons.
We do not guarantee that you will catch any fish or that the fish you catch will meet your expectations. Fishing is subject to many variables and conditions that are beyond our control. We do not guarantee that our website or services will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or accurate. We do not warrant that our website or services will meet your requirements or expectations.
